CALL FOR PAPERS / NOTES FOR CONTRIBUTORS
Authors will be scholars in business and management, but also in psychology, sociology, anthropology, philosophy,
and of course religion, who wish to develop the arena and support a dedicated publication of this genre; or may have
found it difficult to get their work published in mainstream or other specialized journals.
Any aspect of Spirituality or Religion affecting, shaping, engaging, informing, management and organizing will be
of interest to the journal. Empirical as well as conceptual and theory-oriented articles and research notes will be considered.
We also welcome case-studies; and reflections and observations, which should follow the academic paper format but may have a more personal reflexive style.
Articles should be between 5,000 and 9,000 words in length. Research Notes not more than 3500 words.
The title should not exceed ten words and an abstract
of not more than 150 words, as well as up to six keywords should be provided. Notes and Endnotes should be used only
if absolutely necessary and must be identified in the text by consecutive numbers, enclosed in square brackets and
listed at the end of the article. Tables, figures, charts and diagrams should be kept to a minimum, they must be
numbered consecutively with Roman numerals and a brief title. References follow the Harvard style. In the text,
e.g. (Mitroff and Denton, 1999), Covey (1990) elaborated in the reference list at the end of the article, as follows:
Mitroff, I.I. and Denton, E.A. (1999) "A study of spirituality in the workplace" Sloan Management Review vol. 40,
no. 4, Summer, pp. 83-92 Ð for articles; and for books: Covey, S. (1990) The Seven Habits of Highly Effective
People The Business Library, New York, NY.
All manuscripts should be forwarded by email to: bibermang1@scranton.edu and a copy sent to: j-msr@hotmail.com

at the same time. A copyright agreement wil be signed with the author(s) when accepted for publication.
THE REVIEWING PROCESS
Articles submitted will be reviewed, first, by the Editor for general suitability. If deemed suitable, they will
be sent to two external referees for a blind review. Based on their recommendation, the Editor decides whether
the paper should be accepted as it is, revised or rejected.
The journal acknowledges with respect the contributions submitted and commits to effect a decision within five months
from receipt of manuscript; three months for Research Notes.
